July 4th Holiday

We had a great 4th of July!!! We relaxed at home for most of the day and then after taking a short nap, we went over to my brother's house.

The kids (all of them) played in the pool (kiddie), went down the water slide and even did the slip in slide. Props to Tom for letting the kids slip n slide on his grass, it always recks mine but his is way better than mine!!!

After the pool and great food we threw POPITS at each other in the street and lit some sparklers (oops not legal). Gavin really enjoyed stepping on the leftover shells from the POPITS!! Boy do his cheeks get red when he is hot!!!

Next we went to see fireworks at Peoria Sports Complex. Thanks for the trail mix and the drinks (pop) sister!!! We left a little early to miss the traffic and waiting to turn onto the street we missed most of the finale.

After the fireworks we left to go to my friend Lourdes and Billy's. We had a great time playing WII and drinking with the Sailor (Jerry that is) and throwing back a few dos equis (Spelled wrong but what can you expect)!!

Overall it was wonderful!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!

Fun, Fun, FUN!!

Isabella was student of the month for January at Copperwood Elementary. She was the first to go on stage and she was awesome! After that she came home sick and ever since Tuesday it has been a week. Bella ended up having Strep and had to stay home. Thanks to Grammie for watching her on Wednesday!!! You are the best Grammie!!

When Greg brought "The Little Man" to my work on Wednesday, I noticed that he had red bumps all over him. I thought it might be an allergic reaction. I ended up taking him to the urgent care at 2:00 a.m. (in the rain). The Doctor said that it was just probably an allergic reaction but due to other circumstances I believe it was Roseola. He was a trooper and you couldn't even tell that he was not feeling good. He is the best little boy in the whole world (and I am not prejudice).

Christmas 2008

What a wonderful Christmas!! Not only was it the Lil man's first but it was Isabella's first Holiday Concert as a Kindergartener (boy was I proud - you know that crying was going on)!! We also enjoyed a leasurely drive through the neighborhood on a trailer singing carols and enjoying the christmas lights. Overall, it was filled with family, friends and the greatest memories yet!!!
